Hyderabad: Visitors throng Osmania University on open day - Telangana Today

The visitors went around various departments, research centres, colleges and interacted with staff, students and researchers on the nature of activities, research, equipment and courses offered.
The University had prepared a list of must see sites which were prominently displayed and people moved to different locations in shuttle services arranged by the varsity.
The Arts College witnessed a flurry of activity with the inauguration of the numismatics display by Vice Chancellor Prof. D Ravinder organized by the Ancient History and Archaeology department.
The Sociology department opened its doors to the tribal museum while the Psychology department had personality assessments of visitors.
The major action was witnessed in the Journalism & Mass Communication department which had a photo exhibition on rustic life by budding journalist Esram Santhosh. A movie corner captured the firsts in Indian Cinema. The photo booth had lights, camera and action where visitors clicked pictures. The screening of films on the University, Department and Student productions won the applause of many.
