NORMAN - The University of Oklahoma track and field team is set to host the 20th annual J.D. Martin Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 22, at Mosier Indoor Facility in Norman. Okla.

"Truly excited for our team to be able to compete in front of a home crowd," said head coach Tim Langford. "It's the first indoor meet we've hosted in two years. I believe we have laid a strong foundation to the season and it will continue to show as the season goes."

The meet is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. CT with women's weight throw, before running events kickstart at noon. Admission is free to fans and complimentary posters will be available.

Freshman Olivia Lueking made her collegiate debut by breaking the OU indoor pole vault record, clearing a 14-3.25 (4.35m). Securing new meet records, Cooper Campbell threw a 60-7.25 (18.47m) in shot put, Lauren Jones with a 65-9 (20.04m) in weight throw, and Payden Montana marking a 54-9.25 (16.70m) in shot put.
 
Ja'Sha Sloan took first in women's high jump, clearing a 5-8 (1.73m), while Chris Banks finished second and Kason O'Riley placed third, both with a height of 6-8.75 (2.05m).
 
In long jump, Madison Langley-Walker leaped a PR of 19-6 (5.94m) to grab second, while newcomer Pippi Lotta Enok finished third with a 19-5.25 (5.92m). For the men, Khyland Wallace took second with a PR of 24-1.25 (7.35m).
 
Mikeisha Welcome took first in women's triple jump with a 43-1 (13.13m), with Allanah Lee and Nicole Ezeoke following right behind, earning second and fourth, respectively. On the men's side, Kunle Akinlosotu placed second with a leap of 50-1.25 (15.27m).
 
Over on the track, Branch Cox clocked a PR of 8:33.89 in the men's 3000-meter run.
 
Jasher Foster and Isaiah Levingston advanced to the 60-meter hurdles finals, with Foster placing third with a time of 8.06.
 
In the women's 60-meter dash, Jania Hodges advanced to the finals and brought home fifth place with a time of 7.68.
