AUSTIN, Texas — The Oklahoma men's tennis team fell to No. 10 Texas 5-2 at the Texas Tennis Center in Austin, Texas, Sunday afternoon. 
The Longhorns got on the board first, taking the doubles point. No. 46 Alex Martinez and Welsh Hotard fell to No. 23 Cleeve Harper and Richard Ciamarra 6-4 at the top spot. On court two, Mark Mandlik and Baptiste Anselmo took it to a tiebreak but fell 7-6 (5) against No. 58 Eliot Spizzirri and Siem Woldeab. 
When play was halted, Nathan Han and Mason Beiler were tied 6-all against Micah Braswell and Chih Chi Huang. 
In singles play, No. 60 Beiler tallied a top-20 win over No. 19 Pierre-Yves Bailly on court two in 6-4, 6-4 fashion. No. 101 Mandlik picked up the Sooners' second win, defeating No. 47 Ciamarra 6-2, 5-7, 6-4 on court four.
At the top spot, Martinez fell 6-4, 6-1 to No. 24 Braswell. On court five, No. 125 Jordan Hasson fell to No. 85 Woldeab 7-6, 6-2. Anselmo fell 7-6 (5), 6-2 to No. 66 Spizzirri on court three.  Justin Schlageter fell to No. 124 Huang 6-4, 2-6, 7-6 (5) on court six.
The Sooners will return home and open conference play against Oklahoma State on Friday, April 1, at 6 p.m. CT in the Headington Family Tennis Center.
